ABOUT ME

I’m a special effects artist working in Los Angeles as well as a recent graduate of Cinema Makeup School. I can’t wait to continue to contribute to the makeup and effects industry!  My passion for effects started early, around age thirteen, after my dad had finally let me watch all the “scariest” horror movies with him, and I had started working doing makeup at my first haunt. From there, I continued working at haunts for the next six years doing thousands of makeups, making adults cry from fear, and later taking up management after relocating from Omaha, Nebraska to Upstate New York.

 My plan for many years had been to complete my education at CMS. Through my time at the school, I learned the skills I needed to pursue the life I see for myself and to create things I hadn’t known I was capable of. To be able to turn a concept into a reality, shape its form, and bring it to life is a gift. Working with other artists to execute a vision for whatever the project is, a creature, makeup, or prop, is one of the most rewarding things I’ve done, and I know it’s what I want to do with my life.
